GOLDEN, CO, UNITED STATES – IPT Well Solutions, in partnership with Providence Operating and Baker Hughes, has successfully completed a nine-well drilling campaign with zero trips—an achievement that underscores exceptional operational efficiency and technical execution.
Spanning over 156,000 feet of drilled footage, the program tackled complex well geometries, including extended two-mile laterals, intricate 3D curves, and high tangents. The results speak for themselves: an average drill-out to total depth (TD) in just 3.44 days, a 321 ft/hr rate of penetration (ROP), and minimal dogleg severity (DLS) throughout the tangent and lateral sections.
This success was driven by the integration of Baker Hughes’ 6.75” AutoTrak Curve™ RSS and 8.5” PermaForce™ P505 Drill Bit, alongside IPT’s rigorous engineering oversight and field expertise. CEO Dave Mannon emphasized that this project reflects IPT’s commitment to technical precision, collaboration, and optimizing well construction programs in complex environments.
